
Jay is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner, Investment Advisor Representative and Behavioral Economist. He has been advising clients since 1999, and has a great understanding on how investors are influenced by volatility and emotions – and its influence on their investment decisions. He has learned that the best thing investors can do is have a clear, concise investment strategy in place to help them weather the storms (both economic and emotional).
Jay has a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance, as well as, a Master of Science in Applied Economics with an emphasis in behavioral economics. He has been published in financial journals on the topic of investor behavior, and is a regular speaker at financial conferences worldwide.
Jay is a Investment Advisor Representative and will therefore act in the capacity of a fiduciary. This means he is legally obliged to act in your best interest. Jay holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) licenses: S-7, S-31
Jay and his wife, Lonnie, have two children and reside in Woodbury, MN. In his free time he enjoys cycling, traveling and reading.
